Wanhua chemical polyurethane hard foam recovery pilot plant started successfully
Recently, Wanhua Chemical polyurethane hard foam recycling pilot plant started successfully, the production capacity of recycled polyether is 60 tons/year, which is the milestone of Wanhua chemical polyurethane recycling and reuse, opened up a new channel to deal with waste polyurethane foam, and further promoted the development of circular economy.
Using the chemical recovery method, each ton of waste foam recovered can achieve about 3 tons of carbon emission reduction, and the recycled polyethers generated after recovery are consistent with the quality index and performance of standard polyethers. Polyurethane rigid foam recycling technology meets the development concept of circular economy. Recycled products can be used in refrigerator insulation, automobile parts, pipe insulation, household and other fields, realizing the unity of economic benefits and ecological environmental benefits.
In the future, Wanhua Chemical will continue to improve the utilization efficiency of resources, enhance the utilization level of renewable resources, promote the realization of carbon peak and carbon neutrality, stride forward to circular economy, and promote the construction of ecological civilization.
