Limin builds a joint laboratory with Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics

Recently, Limin and Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics from Chengdu University officially signed a contract, the two sides will build a joint laboratory of biological agricultural and veterinary drug R&D.

Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics is a well-known R&D institution and talent training base of microbial medicine in China, focusing on the industrialization technology R&D of antibiotics and microbial medicine for human use, veterinary use and agricultural use for more than 50 years. With the laboratory research and pilot incubation, technological innovation and industrial application" as the R&D characteristics, the industrialization rate of scientific research achievements has always been above 96%. It has won 10 national awards such as the National Invention Award and the National Science and Technology Progress Award. In order to strengthen technical cooperation between scientific research institutions and enterprises, promote scientific and technological innovation, accelerate the transformation of scientific research results, and train biotechnology talents, the two sides agreed to establish a "Joint Laboratory for the R&D of biological agricultural and Veterinary drugs" and signed a strategic cooperation agreement.

Limin said that the joint laboratory of biological agricultural and veterinary drug jointly built this time is based on biological fermentation, enzymatic synthesis and synthetic biology technology as the main research direction, giving full play to the location advantages of fermentation base in Inner Mongolia, and developing new processes of biological agricultural and veterinary drugs with core technological advantages. Based on the good cooperation in the early stage of the Spinosad and ethyl Spinetoram project, the two parties have developed a new fermented agricultural and veterinary drug projects, which will further expand Limin's outstanding advantages in the field of biosynthesis, lay a technical foundation for the development direction of the biological fermentation industry in the next step, and play an important supporting role in the transformation and upgrading of the Group and promote the implementation of strategic objectives.
