Potassium chloride market is sluggish, and potassium sulphate prices increase
At present, the domestic potash fertilizer market continues to be flat, with no major changes in prices and transactions. In terms of domestic potash fertilizer, the potassium chloride equipment of Qinghai Salt Lake Group is operating normally, and the company's inventory and delivery are also in a normal state. Among them, the price of 60% white powder or granular potassium chloride, the company's main product, remains unchanged at the first delivery price of 1,820 yuan (ton price, the same below). The price of 60% white powder or granular potassium chloride of Zangge Holdings has also remained at the first delivery price of 1,820 yuan. The local small factory in Qinghai started normally, and the ex-factory price of 57% powdered potassium chloride was 1300~1350 yuan.
Port potassium chloride inventory reached 3.36 million tons. The export price of 62% Russian white potassium stabilized at 1825 yuan, and the export price of granular potassium chloride dropped to around 1870 yuan. The border trade potash fertilizers are rarely sold, and the source of the goods is mainly for old customers.
At present, the potassium chloride market is sluggish, and the price has not changed much. On the one hand, the low season of fertilizer use in the summer has led to a downturn in downstream procurement; on the other hand, the price continues to fall, and all parties are waiting and watching. China's summer grain harvest has increased, and the total crop output has increased. According to data from the National Bureau of Statistics, from the end of May to mid-July, the total crop output was 142 million tons, an increase of 1.2 million tons over the same period last year. Some insiders also predict that demand is expected to pick up from mid to late August. The NPK plant is preparing to meet the fertilizer demand for winter wheat. Potassium fertilizer is used as a raw material, and the demand will increase accordingly.
In the potassium sulfate market, the supply of potassium sulfate is tight, and prices in some regions have been raised. The price of 52% powdered potassium sulfate of Xinjiang State Investment Corporation is 2550-2600 yuan, and the price of 52% granular potassium sulfate is 2700-2750 yuan. Due to the ongoing maintenance work, the company's inventory has fallen and will not resume production at the end of September. At present, the price of Mannheim's potassium sulfate and the operating rate of enterprises have remained stable. Industry insiders predict that the price of potassium sulfate may be pushed up in the next few weeks.
