Ireland recalls a shipment of jelly imported from our country

On 23 December 2022, the Food Safety Authority of Ireland issued alert No. 2022.75, recalling a consignment of jelly imported from Ireland due to a choking hazard. Information about the recalled products is as follows:

According to the notice, the weight of the recalled product is 360g, the approval number is 004448, and the shelf life is until July 7, 2023.

These batches are being recalled because they may pose a choking risk due to the presence of certain unauthorized gel additives.

The Food Standards Agency of Ireland asked retailers to stop selling products involving the batches mentioned above and display point-of-sale recall notices in stores selling the affected batches.
