Overall acceleration of the PMC project in the Middle East and Iraq of HQC
Recently, the news came from Huanqiu Middle East Company that the construction of various projects of Iraq Basra B9 Oil Field, which is responsible for production and material control (PMC), has been comprehensively accelerated, and strives to build it into Huanqiu's brand project in the Middle East.
It is reported that Huanqiu Middle East Company is mainly responsible for the PMC management of the whole EPCC project, including comprehensive EPCC project management and technical support, and the management and coordination of the whole process of the design, procurement, construction, progress, quality, safety, completion acceptance, commissioning, etc. of various Chinese and foreign EPCC contractors. As of December 2022, of the total 26 EPCC projects, 5 projects have been successfully completed, 6 projects have begun to prepare for completion, and 15 projects are being promoted according to the established plan.
The project is implemented in Iraq and abroad, involving the linkage of China, the United Arab Emirates and Iraq. There are more than 20 major international and local contractors involved in management. The international standards are high and the project coordination and management is difficult. Faced with the multiple impacts of political turmoil, the COVID-19 and hot and hot weather, the project team took the initiative to overcome difficulties, adopted a management model of cooperation in different places, supported each other from the front and rear, strictly controlled the quality, safety and progress, organized a capable international team, managed each EPCC project with good technology and services, and actively communicated and coordinated with the owners and contractors to ensure the design, procurement The construction shall meet the specification requirements and the owner's construction objectives.
Iraq B9 PMC project is located in the north of Basra Province, at the border between Iraq and Iran. It is one of the new oil fields newly developed by Iraq Basra Oil Company. The project is planned to be completed and put into operation before June 2024.
