Cabot to Increase Prices for Fumed Metal Oxides Globally
US-based Cabot Corporation has announced plans to increase prices up to 15% globally for CAB-O-SIL fumed and colloidal silicas, CAB-O-SPERSE aqueous dispersions and SpectrAl fumed alumina products.
The increase will take effect from May 30, 2018. The price increase has become necessary due to the continued rise in raw materials and transportation costs, and rising demand, the company said.
