ExxonMobil to adopt Honeywell carbon capture technology

Honeywell announced today that ExxonMobil will deploy a Honeywell carbon dioxide fractionation and hydrogen purification system at its integrated cogeneration facility in Baytown, Texas. The system is one of Honeywell's carbon capture-related technologies and is expected to help ExxonMobil capture about 7 million tons of carbon dioxide per year, equivalent to the annual emissions of 1.5 million cars.
