Novosibirsk has exported 62,500 tons of crops to China this year

Moscow (Sputnik) -- Russia's Novosibirsk region has exported 62,500 tons of crops to China since the beginning of 2023, nearly double the amount in the same period last year, the Russian Federal Animal and Plant Health Supervision Service said.

Novosibirsk prefecture will export 21,500 tons of flaxseed, 16,000 tons of rapeseed, 12,800 tons of peas, 8,700 tons of barley, 1,800 tons of buckwheat and 1,600 tons of oats to China this year, according to the announcement.

The statement said the export crops all passed plant tests and fully met China's requirements.

Novosibirsk is part of the Siberian Federation of Russia. In addition to crops, Novosibirsk also exports various kinds of mineral products, wood and wood products, equipment and instruments to China.
