Jincheng Petrochemical 300,000 tons/year propylene oxide plant successfully started

On April 2nd, the 300,000-ton/year propylene oxide and its supporting 900,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide combined unit invested by Jincheng Petrochemical operated stably for 24 hours. The quality of the main product propylene oxide reached the grade of superior product. All the operating parameters of the unit were within the standard control range.

300,000 tons/year propylene oxide and supporting 900,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide combined plant, adopt the international advanced direct oxidation method environmental protection production new technology, with stable and reliable product quality, high yield, low energy consumption, production process environmental protection and other outstanding advantages. At present, Jincheng Petrochemical is accelerating the development layout according to the two industrial chains of high-end polyolefin new materials and propylene oxide polyurethane. The successful trial production of this device marks a new breakthrough in the transformation and upgrading development of Jincheng Petrochemical, and the transformation and development of high-end new chemical materials.

It is reported that 300 thousand tons/year propylene oxide and supporting 900 thousand tons/year hydrogen peroxide device project by Shandong Qinghe Chemical Technology Co., LTD., a total investment of 34,22,599,100 yuan, located in Zibo City, Maqiao Chemical Industry Park Huantai County. The project will start construction in February 2021, get the approval for trial production on September 15, 2022, and enter the preparatory stage of trial production. On December 28, 2022, a single set of hydrogen peroxide plant was successfully piloted, and qualified hydrogen peroxide products were produced. In March 2023, the main propylene oxide plant officially entered the trial production and piloted stage.
