Under the unified deployment of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China and the guidance of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, the China Coatings Industry Association launched the creation of a green manufacturing system for the coatings industry during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. A series of green design product evaluation standards such as water-based architectural coatings, water-based wood coatings, cathodic electrophoretic coatings, metal oxide mixed phase pigments, titanium dioxide, and iron oxide pigments have been compiled. More than 50 paints and pigment products from Carbo-Li Chemical Group Co., Ltd., Xiangjiang Paint Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Jufa Technology Co., Ltd. were selected into the list of green design products of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which played a good demonstration and leading role. At the same time, the China Coatings Industry Association issued the "Evaluation Requirements for Green Coating Parks" during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, and the green factory evaluation standards for coatings, titanium dioxide, iron oxide pigments and other industries will also be released soon. It has laid a solid foundation for the green development of the paint and pigment industry during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period.
