DongWu plans to build an 25,000 t/a Thiamethoxam and Clothianidin intermediates project

Recently, the website of Wuzhong Ecological Environment Bureau publicized the environmental assessment document of Ningxia Dongwu Agricultural Chemical with an 25,000 t/a  of fine chemical products construction project.

Ningxia Dongwu Agrochemical was established in 2012. After more than ten years of continuous development, the product market share has been increasing and the export market has been expanding. At present, the company cooperates with Bayer (Germany) and Syngenta (Switzerland), and the demand for Oxadiazine products continues to increase. According to the current market and customer demand, the company decided to invest 60 million yuan to build a construction project with an annual output of 25,000 tons of fine chemical products after market research.

Based on the current market demand and the overall development plan of the company in the future, it is planned to dismantle the existing Ethyl N-Cyanoethanimideate production plant in workshop 19, after which the workshop will be reconstructed and re-arranged, and a new set of 1-Methyl-3-nitroguanidine production plant and a set of Oxadiazine public production plant will be built in the workshop. After the completion of this project, the annual production scale of 1-Methyl-3-nitroguanidine is expanded from 5,000 t/a to 15,000 t/a, and the annual production scale of Oxadiazine is increased by 5,000 t/a. The annual production scale is increased by 5,000 t/a, bringing the total annual production scale to 25,000 t/a.

In the production process of this project, the domestic mature production technology and equipment are adopted. The product 1-Methyl-3-nitroguanidinee is used as pesticide intermediate, Oxadiazine is an important intermediate of highly effective and low-toxic insecticides Thiamethoxam. After implementation, the advanced nature of production equipment and the automatic control of production process are ensured in the production process, effective measures are taken for the treatment and disposal of organized pollutants, and LDAR technology is implemented in the workshop to effectively reduce the emission of unorganized volatile organic compounds.
