Shangyu 300,000 tons/year propylene oxide, 250,000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide plant open bidding

On June 12, the People's Government of Shangyu District of Shaoxing announced the general contract bidding announcement for the construction and installation of 300,000-ton/year propylene oxide and 250,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide device of Zhejiang Yuanjin New Material Integrated alkane resource Utilization Project (Phase I).

The owner of the tendering project of integrated alkane resource utilization project (Phase I) is Zhejiang Yuanjin New Material Co., LTD., and the tendering agent is Zhejiang Jiancheng Engineering Management Consulting Co., LTD. The "purchase + construction" (PC) general contracting method was adopted to conduct public bidding for the 300,000-ton/year propylene oxide and 250,000-ton/year hydrogen peroxide (100 percent) installations.

The 300,000-ton/year propylene oxide plant includes: Epoxidation reaction unit, propylene oxide refining unit, methanol hydrogenation unit, propylene recovery unit, methanol refining unit, exhaust gas treatment unit, catalytic converter resurrection unit, public works unit, demethanol and ether concentration unit, ether water separation unit, propylene glycol concentration unit, propylene glycol removal unit, PO intermediate tank area, alcohol ether recovery and methanol cycle tank area, freezing station, HPP O joint transformer and distribution room; The estimated construction cost (including the main material cost) is about 250 million yuan.

The 250000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide (folding 100) device consists of two 125000 tons/year hydrogen peroxide production lines, including: hydrogenation process, oxidation process, extraction and purification process, post-treatment process, preparation process, concentration process, public system, hydrogen peroxide intermediate tank group, process accident pool, etc.

It is understood that the integrated project of comprehensive utilization of alkane resources with a total investment of 20.8 billion yuan is located in Shangyu Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hangzhou Bay, Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province. It was started at the end of December 2020. The project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase, with a planned investment of 11 billion yuan, will be completed and put into operation in July 2023. The second phase of the project is planned to invest 9.8 billion yuan, and all the projects have reached the post-production stage. The sales revenue is expected to reach 34 billion yuan, and profits and taxes are 4.7 billion yuan. The project plans to build two 750,000 tons of propane dehydrogenation to propylene plants, three polypropylene plants with a total capacity of 1.25 million tons, a 400,000 tons of hydrogen peroxide plant, a 300,000 tons of direct oxidation propylene oxide plant, and 80,000 tons of hydrogen byproduct.
