Shuangrui Paint First Applied to Very Large Oil Tanker!
Recently, at Zhoushan CIMC Changhong Shipyard Co., Ltd., Shuangrui Paint provided special coatings for the "Diona" ship, providing a good guarantee for the smooth undocking of the ship. This marks the first time that Xiamen Sunrui Ship Coating Co., Ltd’ products have been applied to very large oil tankers.
The "Diona" ship has a total length of 333 meters, a width of 60 meters, and a total deadweight of 330,000 tons. It has been sailing on international ocean routes for a long time. The complex and changeable natural environment has made the shipowner extremely demanding on the anti-corrosion and anti-fouling performance of the ship’s outer plates.
Xiamen Shuangrui Paint is committed to providing customers with high-performance products. The hydrolyzable tin-free self-polishing copolymer antifouling paint 725-B40-16 provided this time is a one-component antifouling paint based on silicone methacrylate and hydrolyzable linear self-polishing technology. It does not contain organic tin, DDT or sibutramide; it has smooth polished paint surface and low friction coefficient drag reduction characteristics, minimizing fluid resistance and speed loss; suitable for various ocean-going ships, with a maximum anti-fouling period of up to 5 years or more than 5 years, and the longest outage time can reach 28 days; this antifouling paint is specially designed for ship repairs during short docking periods. The drying time and the minimum launching time are both within 24 hours, aiming to reduce fuel consumption and save docking repair time and maintenance expenses for customers.
