Premium Label & Packaging Solutions (PLPS) Unifies Operations with New Leadership
Premium Label & Packaging Solutions (PLPS) has brought on board Chris Payne as the CEO and Leslie Gurland as the VP of Sales and Marketing. Their mission is to synchronize the activities of the company's eight locations under the consolidated PLPS brand. Notable entities within PLPS include Luminer, Overnight Labels, Label Graphics, HP Mile, Label One, and Privateer.

The executives are charged with uniting the company's eight locations to operate synergistically under the unified PLPS brand.

Chris Payne brings a wealth of experience, boasting three decades in the field. His recent positions include roles at InterFlex Group flexible packaging, Oracle Packaging, Printpak, and Sonoco.
Leslie Gurland, with a background of five years at Lux Global Label and 17 years at Tadbik, is set to expand the sales team and redirect the organizational focus from individual company sales to a cohesive PLPS platform. Gurland will also spearhead the company's brand and marketing initiatives, collaborating on product development.
Payne shared, "Over the past few months, Leslie and I, along with the legacy owners, have harmonized our strengths for the benefit of our clients and employees. Our unique value proposition stands out in the private-equity-owned landscape of today's label and packaging giants. We offer the personal touch of a small business coupled with the infrastructure of a large organization. This model allows us to provide an extensive portfolio of conventional, specialty, and custom products, exceptional service, and rapid turnarounds."
Gurland expressed excitement about joining the PLPS team, stating, "Our slogan, 'Changing the Packaging Paradigm,' reflects our intense focus on delivering just that. We are dedicated to preserving the passion, creativity, and responsiveness that customers desire while simultaneously expanding the company's size and diverse offerings."
