China Longjiang Chemical's Phenol, Acetone and Bisphenol A Projects are About to Be Put Into Full Production
After more than 21 months of intense construction, the first phase of Longjiang Chemical’s polycarbonate project is about to be put into full production. This project undertakes the technical route setting for propylene and toluene raw materials of Daqing Petrochemical Company, is based on the local petroleum and chemical market, aims at the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta economic zones, and faces Northeast Asia. The three sets of equipment in the first phase of the project can produce four products: phenol, acetone, bisphenol A and pure benzene. It is expected that the output value will reach 3.2 billion yuan in 2024.
Deng Jun, deputy general manager of Longjiang Chemical, said that, “phenol and acetone have vast markets in the Northeast. Our bisphenol A is mainly aimed at the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta economic zones, and in the future we will take the initiative to develop in Northeast Asia. The main export products are phenol, acetone and bisphenol A. The export sales volume of phenol and acetone can reach 130,000 tons, and the export sales volume of bisphenol A can reach 200,000 tons.”
