The Latest Progress of Huarun Nylon 160,000 Tons/Year PA66 Project

Recently, the mainstructure of Yantai Huarun Nylon's new 40,000 tons/year PA66EPC project, amajor high-quality development project in Shandong Province, China, has beenfully capped.

 

On February 14,Shandong Province held an on-site promotion meeting for the construction ofmajor high-quality development projects to focus on starting major provincialprojects. Representatives of the EPC general contracting project of YantaiHuarun Nylon's new 40,000 tons/year PA66 device of China ConstructionInstallation and Petrochemical Engineering Company attended the event at theYantai branch venue.

 

Project name:Huarun Chemical Nylon New Material Industry Upgrading Project

Construction unit:Yantai Huarun Nylon Co., Ltd.

Nature ofconstruction: relocation, new construction

Total projectinvestment: 2.7 billion yuan

Constructionperiod: The project construction period is 60 months in total and is expectedto be completed and put into operation in August 2027.

Project content:Newly build 4 sets of high-end nylon 66 polymerization equipment with an annualoutput of 40,000 tons. Through the elimination of backward production capacity,relocation and integration, and intelligent upgrading and transformation, ithas finally formed an annual production capacity of 160,000 tons of high-endnylon 66 chips and 30,000 tons of differentiated nylon fiber.

 

On December 29,2021, INVISTA and Huarun Yantai Nylon Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Huarun Group,held a ceremony to officially sign an INVISTA nylon 66 polymerizationtechnology license agreement. This is the first production line to licenseINVISTA’s nylon 6,6 polymerization technology since 2016.

 

The production linewill use INVISTA's patented nylon 6,6 salt process and advanced continuouspolymerization technology, which has excellent safety and environmentalperformance, high reliability and long operating life. While reducing energyconsumption, it can provide the industry with better products at loweroperating costs.
