Cibus and Interoc are working together to develop herbicide tolerant varieties for Latin America
Recently, Cibus, Inc. has announced a collaboration agreement with Interoc to provide traits for Interoc's high-quality paddy seed genetics. Interoc will leverage Cibus' technical expertise to market high-performance paddy varieties and their hybrids for the Latin American market, and the program will include herbicide tolerance characteristics to meet existing needs in weed and resistance management, thereby helping to increase yields in areas affected by resistant weeds, including weedy rice.

The State Administration for Market Regulation (Standardization Administration) approved the release of the recommended national standard "Clethodim" (standard number: GB/T 22614-2023), will be officially implemented from April 1, 2024, "Clethodim technical" (standard number: GB/T 22614-2008), "Clethodim EC" (standard number: GB/T 22615-2008) and other two standards will be abolished at the same time.
