Metamifop is an herbicide. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit Acetyl CoA carboxylase, and the active ingredient needs to reach the target in plants to play the role of killing grass. The solvents and surfactants will soften the wax layer of the leaf surface and open the stomata of the plant respectively, so that the active ingredients can enter the plant body to play a role. Bispyribac-sodium is a benzoic acid herbicide and a highly active Acetolactate Synthase (ASL) inhibitor. After spraying on weeds, Bispyribac-sodium can be quickly absorbed by the stems and leaves of weeds, and transmitted to the whole plant, inhibiting the growth of plant meristem and killing weeds, with high efficiency, broad spectrum and low dosage. Bispyribac-sodium can effectively control Barnyard grass and other grass weeds in paddy field, as well as most broad-leaved weeds, some sedge weeds and barnyard grass resistant to other herbicides.

 

The mixture of Metamifop and Bispyribac-sodium in the appropriate ratio can not only improve the pesticide effect, reduce the dosage, save the economic cost, and reduce the residue of the pesticide in the environment. At the same time, it can also delay the generation of weed resistance, extend the service life of the agent, and by adding additives, it can extend the efficacy time and improve the weeding effect in high or low temperature environment.

 

OD has the advantages of environmental friendliness, high efficacy, no need for barrel mixing additives, and easy to use, but the OD products involving Metamifop and Bispyribac-sodium generally have the disadvantages of high long-term storage decomposition rate, poor stability, and high cost, and problems such as stratification and bottom formation will occur during long-term storage or transportation.
