FMC debuted at Show Rural 2024 in Brazil with new products such as Onsuva and Provilar
Two new pesticide products were unveiled at Show Rural 2024 in Brazil, along with two biologics.
One of the new products unveiled is the fungicide Onsuva, formulated with the unique fluindapyr, the first product in Brazil to contain this ingredient. In addition, the product also contains a high concentration, high potency of Difenoconazole. According to FMC, Onsuva is recommended for the control of major diseases of soybeans and cotton. The product can play an effective role in a variety of diseases, and the efficacy of early application is recognized.
In addition, one of the products officially launched by FMC is the insecticide Premio Star (Chlorantraniliprole + Bifenthrin). It is the only product on the Brazilian market that can control both moth larvae and stink bugs. The launch of the product helps more than 50 crops combat 50 species of pests, including the caterpillar of the Spodoptera litura Fabricius, Thargelia distincta, and Chrysodeixis eriosoma.
″Fabio Lemos, Crop and Product Portfolio Manager at FMC, stressed: "FMC invests in new chemical technologies and innovative biological solutions to enhance agricultural sustainability and innovation, while helping farmers protect their crops and maximize their yield potential."
At Show Rural 2024, FMC also demonstrated Presence Full, a biological nematocide. The product is suitable for seed treatment and is recommended for furrow planting of crops such as soybeans, corn, beans and cotton. Presence Full is recommended for control of Meloidogyne incongnita Chitwood, meloidogyne javanica, pratylenchus brachyurus , Heterodera glycines Ichinohe and so on.
Another product is the biocide Provilar, which contains bacillus endospores. The product can be combined with other chemical products. The product is recommended to prevent sclerotinia in the early stage of soybean cultivation and play a long-term function for leaf disease prevention and control.
