Trinseo to release acrylic architectural coating emulsion with improved formulation adaptability

It is reported that Trinseo will release a new vinyl acrylic emulsion product, LIGOS™ C9484, during the American Paint Show in April. This product has excellent performance and formula compatibility and will provide architectural coatings formulators with more design possibilities.

Trinseo related people said that the launch of LIGOS™ C9484 is an important supplement to the company's pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, ethylene acrylic and other emulsion product lines. The new products can flexibly meet the design needs of architectural coating formulators and ensure formulators can design coating products to meet special effects.

According to the product introduction, LIGOS™ C9484 is designed for architectural coating applications and combines performance and flexibility. The emulsion provides strong hiding properties, leveling properties and excellent washability, making the paint application extremely durable. LIGOS™ C9484 also offers high scrub resistance, making it easy to repair unwanted marks, scuffs and scratches. Additionally, the lotion meets ASTM D4828-94 testing requirements and can be easily cleaned when stained by common household materials.

The flexibility of this emulsion is mainly reflected in its high compatibility with formulation systems. LIGOS™ C9484 can be formulated in the entire PVC range, including flat to semi-gloss finishes. In addition, formulations can contain a variety of different solvents, pigments, additives and other raw materials to achieve the flexibility of high-performance coatings to meet the needs of formulators' most demanding coating applications.
