Adama launches Avastel®, a grain fungicide for Fluxapyroxad + Prothioconazole, in Europe
Adama has launched a new broad spectrum grain fungicide called Avastel® in the European market. The product consists of two active ingredients, Fluxapyroxad + Prothioconazole, and is designed to provide European grain growers with effective and durable protection against a wide range of diseases.
Avastel® provides superior treatment and prevention of leaf blight, brown rust, stripe rust and net blotch in a wide range of grain crops, including wheat, barley and rye. Using ADAMA's patented Asorbital® formulation technology, the fungicide helps to enhance the product's absorption and migration within plant tissue, improve resistance to rain and leaf adhesion, and mitigate the effects of weather uncertainties.
Avastel® provides better leaf spot protection for crops than competing products, helping to form stronger flag leaves for higher yields. At present, with the increasing resistance to disease, European farmers have an urgent need for a highly effective fungicide to protect their profits. Avastel® is an all-in-one solution that provides durable, consistent control protection for high-risk, high-yielding crops.
The new product is part of a new line of cereal fungicides that ADAMA is launching in Europe starting in 2023. This bodes well for the company's continued commitment to providing innovative crop solutions to growers worldwide.
