Sipcam Nichino launches innovative Pyraflufen-ethyl herbicide in Brazil
Recently, Sipcam Nichino revealed that it has launched an innovative herbicide ET-Part in Brazil, containing the active ingredient Pyraflufen-ethyl.
ET-Part is formulated in the form of cream (EC) to control weeds by contact and defoliation, especially during the drying period before harvest of legumes. This PPO inhibitor can rapidly inhibit enzyme activity in plant chloroplasts under light. The company says that ET-Part is practical and environmentally friendly, and it can effectively promote the drying of bean crops, improve harvest efficiency and achieve uniform ripening. In addition to beans, ET-Part is approved for other crops such as cotton and potatoes.
Pyraflufen-ethyl is a novel molecule in Brazil and its application for registration was recently approved by the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture. Sipcam Nichino Brasil has acquired the exclusive distribution rights for the product in Brazil.
As one of the chemical solutions providers for the soybean industry in Brazil, Sipcam Nichino Brasil, in addition to its portfolio of fungicides, insecticides, herbicides and acaricides, has recently launched a biostimulant platform focused on the nutrition of legumes.
