FMC's new herbicide active ingredient Bixlozone is released in the UK
FMC's new herbicide Isoflex® active (Bixlozone) has received registration approval in the UK, and the active ingredient has been classified as Group 13 by the Herbicide Resistance Action Committee (HRAC).
Isoflex® active provides effective control of troublesome annual grasses and major broadleaf weeds. According to FMC's Director of Operations for Northern Europe, Isoflex® active not only becomes an integral part of an integrated weed management plan, but also has the potential to help growers effectively manage herbicide resistance.
Isoflex® active's active ingredients are registered in several countries, including Brazil, Argentina, Australia and China. On major crops such as rapeseed, cereals, rapeseed and legumes worldwide, it has shown selective weeded effects before, before and after planting.
The UK registration is another important regulatory approval for Isoflex® active, which was previously registered in Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China and India.
