NoPalm Ingredients secures €5 million seed funding to revolutionize palm oil

NoPalm_Ingredients, a pioneering Dutch biotech company producing yeast oil, has announced the successful closing of a €5 million seed round. Rubio Impact Ventures, Oost NL, Fairtree Elevant Ventures and Willow Capital Investments led the round. Netherlands Enterprise Agency and other private investors also participated.

The funding will accelerate NoPalm Ingredients’ mission to provide local, circular and sustainable solutions to the global palm oil market. With global demand for palm oil growing year on year and new regulations on products linked to deforestation, sustainable alternatives are essential. NoPalm Ingredients aims to produce 1.5 million kg of sustainable oil per year by 2025, helping to meet this demand while preventing deforestation and reducing carbon emissions.

The investment will support the company to demonstrate large-scale production and strengthen its position in the food and personal care industries.
