WACKER's Innovative Polymer Resin Binders Reduce Carbon Footprint
WACKER will present its VINNOL solid resin portfolio at the European Coatings Show 2025.
The focus of the product range will be on the polymer binder VINNOL H 15/45 M (Renewables). Since renewable energy is used to generate the electricity required to manufacture the product, VINNOL H 15/45 M (Renewables) has a lower product carbon footprint (PCF) than conventional VINNOL products.
Binders are the film-forming component of any printing ink or coating. In color formulations, binders encapsulate the pigment particles and fix them to the substrate. With its VINNOL portfolio, WACKER offers a wide range of polymer resins that fulfill this task in many areas of application.
WACKER is continuously working on the development of its VINNOL resins. Industrial manufacturers and retailers are increasingly focusing on offering more environmentally friendly products. WACKER fully supports this shift and supports binders produced with renewable energy with the goal of reducing the carbon footprint (PCF) of the finished product.
