KRAHN Chemie to distribute Lamberti’s polymer beads in Germany and Austria
KRAHN Chemie and specialty chemicals manufacturer Lamberti have announced a new partnership. With this distribution agreement, KRAHN will now offer polymer beads in various particle sizes and hardnesses in Germany and Austria.
The spherical polymer beads stand out for their permanent matting effect, which is particularly popular in applications where an elegant, non-reflective finish is required. Their high mechanical and chemical resistance ensures long-lasting coatings, while their soft touch enhances the pleasant feel of the surface.
In addition, the beads offer flexibility. They are available in transparent and colored versions and, thanks to their excellent light-scattering properties, can achieve non-reflective surfaces.
The products can be used in solvent-borne, 100% UV as well as water-borne systems and are particularly suitable for demanding applications such as floor coatings, furniture coatings, coil coatings, paper and foil coatings and printing inks, architectural coatings, leather finishing and various plastic applications.
“Our collaboration with Lamberti enables us to expand our portfolio with an innovative product that combines superior technology with a wide range of application possibilities in the paints and coatings sector,” said Dr. Rolf Kuropka, CEO of KRAHN Chemie. “We appreciate the trust that our customers place in us and are pleased to be able to even better meet their individual requirements with Lamberti’s high-quality polymer beads.”
