Aksharchem India Expands Precipitated Silica Plant
Aksharchem India Ltd announced the successful expansion of its precipitated silica plant in Dahej, Gujarat, adding 6,000 tonnes/year of capacity.
With the completion of this expansion, the company’s cumulative precipitated silica production capacity has reached 18,000 tonnes/year. The expansion project has been approved by the relevant authorities and will be officially put into production from June 24, 2025.
The expansion of the precipitated silica plant in Dahej, Gujarat marks a key step in the company’s operational capabilities. The additional capacity will not only enable the company to better meet the growing market demand, but also enhance its competitive advantage by expanding the product size range and enriching product selection. This capacity increase reinforces the company’s commitment to maintaining high standards in efficiency, sustainability and customer satisfaction. The additional capacity will help serve more tire and rubber industries.
This capacity expansion will bring unique synergies to the company and improve access to key raw materials for cost-effective production.
