DKSH to Distribute Exsymol's Silanols, Peptides, and Natural Active Ingredients in South Korea
DKSH's Performance Materials division recently announced that it will distribute Exsymol's active ingredient portfolio in South Korea, further expanding its presence in Asia. The partnership encompasses Exsymol's signature silicone-based silanol technology, as well as a variety of peptides and natural active ingredients. DKSH will be fully responsible for business development, marketing, sales network development, and logistics for these products in South Korea.
Exsymol has a long-standing focus on developing high-performance active ingredients, particularly recognized for its silicone-derived silanols. These ingredients are widely used in skincare products to effectively revitalize the skin, mitigate signs of aging, and maintain healthy-looking skin. In addition to silanols, Exsymol also offers a diverse range of active ingredients, including peptides and natural extracts, dedicated to helping cosmetic brands develop more innovative and effective skincare solutions.
Building on their successful collaboration in Canada, Exsymol has chosen to partner with DKSH again, expanding their partnership to the South Korean market. This strategic decision stems from DKSH's extensive experience in formulation development, regulatory compliance, and understanding of local consumer needs. Ori Callot, Global Commercial, Marketing, and Communications Director at Exsymol, expressed confidence in this partnership, emphasizing that an ideal distribution partner is more than just a product transporter; it serves as a strategic extension of the brand in the global market. With its in-depth local service and market development capabilities, DKSH is seen as a key player in achieving this goal.
Michelle Delac, Vice President of Global Personal Care at DKSH, also expressed high expectations for the partnership. She noted that this entry into the Korean market not only represents a further deepening of the partnership between DKSH and Exsymol, but also demonstrates their shared commitment to balancing global growth with local market needs. Exsymol's core ingredients, particularly its technologically advanced silanol technology, perfectly meet the current skincare industry's dual demands for high performance and technological innovation. DKSH looks forward to leveraging these premium ingredients to provide Korean cosmetics brands with customized, high-quality product solutions, helping them stand out in this competitive market.
