Approaching mid-month, the supportive effect of raw material prices was limited, and the terminal demand decreased. After the rise in the price of adipic acid, it gradually stabilized, remaining at 7,300 CNY/ton without any fluctuation.

Mid-month, the prices of raw materials for adipic acid, such as pure benzene and cyclohexanone, showed a weak downward trend. The demand from the end-users was low, and the transactions in the Chinese adipic acid market were moderate, with acceptable sales. The quotations from adipic acid manufacturers remained relatively stable, while the overall quotations from traders mainly declined. The market trend was weak. By August 19, the price had fallen to 7,200 CNY/ton, with a price decrease of nearly 0.5%.

At the end of the month, the prices of raw materials for adipic acid, such as pure benzene and cyclohexanone, stabilized after a decline, with terminal demand improving. The trading in China's adipic acid market improved, and shipments increased. Adipic acid quotations rose, and the market showed signs of recovery. As of August 26, the average market price exceeded 7,300 CNY/ton, with an overall increase of more than 100 CNY/ton.

Adipic acid analysts believe that in September, with an increase in terminal demand and a boost in raw material prices, the adipic acid market in China is expected to continue strengthening.
