According to the commodity market analysis system, on November 26, the average price of ammonium sulfate in the Chinese market was 1,096 CNY/ton, and on November 1, the average price of ammonium sulfate in the Chinese market was 1,036 CNY/ton. The price of caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate in the Chinese market increased by 5.79% this month.

II. Market Analysis

This month, the market price of ammonium sulfate in China has shown a strong upward trend. The facility utilization rate of caprolactam plants in China decreased this month, leading to a reduction in the supply of caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate. Manufacturers mainly maintained their prices, pushing up the price of ammonium sulfate. Downstream buyers primarily purchased according to their needs, and with the continuous rise in ammonium sulfate prices, a more cautious attitude has emerged. As of November 26, for coking-grade ammonium sulfate, the main ex-factory quotations in Shandong region were around 950 CNY/ton. For caprolactam-grade ammonium sulfate, the main ex-factory quotations in Shandong region were around 1060-1100 CNY/ton.

As shown in the weekly K-line chart from September 1, 2025, to November 17, 2025, China's ammonium sulfate prices exhibited alternating rises and falls during this period. In November, ammonium sulfate prices in China rose significantly, with the largest price increase occurring in the week of November 10, at 0.96%.
