Supply Reduction Leads to Slight Rise in Aniline Prices

ECHEMI 2025-12-20

December 18th, news

I. Price Trends

According to the commodity market analysis system, the recent status of the Aniline market in China has risen. On December 11, the price of Aniline was 7,637 CNY/ton, and on December 18, it was 7,945 CNY/ton, with a price increase of 4.03% within the period, down 12.21% compared to the same period last year.

II. Analysis and Commentary

Recently, the aniline market in China has been supported by supply-side benefits, leading to a significant increase in prices. On Monday, with some factories undergoing maintenance and expectations of reduced supply, market confidence was boosted. At the same time, due to the previously low prices, companies did not face much inventory pressure, and manufacturers raised prices by 250 CNY/ton on Monday. Prices reached 7,900 CNY/ton. As prices rose to high levels, demand remained relatively flat, and aniline prices were consolidating at high levels over the weekend.

Cost perspective: The market for raw material pure benzene continues to fluctuate at a low level. Recently, the supply of pure benzene has decreased somewhat, but there was a concentration of arrivals at ports from late November to early December, leading to a continuous increase in port inventory. In terms of demand, the load of downstream pure benzene has decreased to varying degrees recently. In the short term, the overall supply and demand for pure benzene is weak, coupled with weak support from crude oil on the cost side, pure benzene will continue to operate in a weak state.

III. Future Market Outlook

The current aniline market in China is stable with moderate demand. It is expected that the aniline market will maintain stability in the short term. Closely monitor changes in raw materials and supply and demand.
