Lacking Positive Support, Cyclohexane Mainly Remains Stable

I. Price Trends

Core downstream weakness: Cyclohexane is primarily used to produce caprolactam (accounting for about 60% of demand) and cyclohexanone, which in turn are used to manufacture nylon 6, nylon 66, and other products. However, in 2025, the operating rates in downstream industries such as synthetic fibers and engineering plastics remained insufficient, and purchasing intentions were sluggish, leading to weak demand growth and mounting inventory pressure. Due to insufficient demand, cyclohexane inventories have remained at high levels, making it difficult for companies to sell their products and further dampening purchasing enthusiasm. Export markets: Regions such as Southeast Asia and the Middle East have seen relatively rapid growth in demand for cyclohexane, providing Chinese enterprises with international market opportunities. Nevertheless, the increase in new orders has been limited, failing to fully offset China’s weak domestic demand.

III. Future Market Forecast

The cyclohexane analyst believes that, in the short term, the cyclohexane market will maintain its current trend, with prices primarily remaining stable.
