Bullish Factors Support Continued Rise in Adipic Acid Prices in China

ECHEMI 2026-02-06

February 5 news

Commodity market analysis system shows: In early February, the adipic acid market in China was mainly on an upward trend, continuously rising. At the beginning of the month, the average market price of adipic acid in China was 8,066 CNY/ton. By February 5th, the average market price of adipic acid in China had risen to 8,333 CNY/ton, with a price increase of 3.31%.

Positive support drives continuous upward trend in adipic acid prices.

In early February, crude oil prices surged, and the prices of raw materials for adipic acid, such as pure benzene and cyclohexanone, remained high. With the Spring Festival approaching, the demand for nylon stocking increased, leading to a stronger sentiment among manufacturers for price increases. The price of adipic acid continued to rise, with an increase in market transactions and a steady warming of the market. The price increase over five days exceeded 3%. As of February 5th, the average market price of adipic acid in China was around 8,333 CNY/ton, with a price increase of 300 CNY/ton.

The adipic acid analyst believes: After the holiday, the purchasing demand from end manufacturers in China has declined, and the adipic acid market may experience a sharp drop, with insufficient momentum for continued significant increases.
