Price Trend

According to the commodity market analysis system, this week's isopropanol prices in China first rose and then fell, with an overall decrease. At the beginning of the week, the average price of isopropanol in China was 5750 CNY/ton, and by the end of the week, it had decreased to 5666.66 CNY/ton, a decline of 1.45%.

This week, the isopropyl alcohol market price in China first increased and then decreased, resulting in an overall decline. The price of raw material acetone has dropped, weakening the cost support. Additionally, terminal demand is weak, and market confidence is low. As a result, suppliers are more eager to sell, while downstream buyers are mainly purchasing according to their needs and with caution. As of now, most quotes for isopropyl alcohol in Shandong region are around 5,650-5,700 CNY per ton; in Jiangsu region, most quotes are around 5,600-5,750 CNY per ton.

Future Market Prediction

The isopropanol analyst from the Chemical Sub-branch believes: This week, the isopropanol market price first increased and then decreased, with terminal demand being relatively weak, mainly driven by demand. It is expected that in the short term, the market will mainly be in a weak consolidation phase, with more attention paid to the operational moves of major manufacturers in China.
