China Sodium Metabisulfite Price Trend
According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of sodium metabisulfite in China increased this week. The average price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite at the beginning of the week was 3,366 CNY per ton, and by the end of the week, it had risen to 3,916 CNY per ton, an increase of 16.34%.
This week, the market price of industrial-grade sodium metabisulfite (96.5% content) in China increased. The price of soda ash, an upstream raw material for sodium metabisulfite, remained stable, while the price of sulfur, another upstream raw material, increased by 0.50%. The price of downstream caprolactam also increased by 0.98%. The continuous rise in the price of sulfur, an upstream raw material, has driven up the price of sodium metabisulfite.
