April 17 news
This week, the price of anhydrous hydrogen fluoride remained stable at a high level. According to the analysis system, as of April 17th, the benchmark price for hydrofluoric acid in China was 15,100 CNY per ton, an increase of 2.95% from the beginning of the month.
Raw Materials: This week, the prices of sulfuric acid and fluorite—the key raw materials—remained stable at high levels. Hydrofluoric acid producers continue to benefit from strong cost support, keeping prices firm. According to analysis systems, as of April 17, the benchmark price for fluorite was 3,556.25 CNY per ton, unchanged from the beginning of this month.
April 17, the benchmark price of sulfuric acid was 2100.00 CNY/ton, an increase of 32.91% compared to the beginning of this month (1580.00 CNY/ton) in China.
On the demand side: Downstream refrigerant manufacturers are gradually entering the traditional peak production season, and demand for certain refrigerant models remains relatively strong, creating a rigid demand for hydrofluoric acid. However, buyers remain cautious and are not very receptive to high-priced raw materials. Procurement is mainly focused on replenishing stocks as needed, resulting in moderate trading volumes in the market.
