According to the commodity market analysis system monitoring: At the beginning of the week, the price of activated carbon in China was 12,833 CNY/ton, and by the end of the week, the price of activated carbon remained at 12,833 CNY/ton, with stable prices.

Chinese coconut shell activated carbon prices from manufacturers remained stable this week. The factory price for coconut shell activated carbon used for water purification in East China is between 9,500 and 13,000 CNY per ton. For columnar coal-based activated carbon with an iodine value of around 1,000, the price is between 8,200 and 9,500 CNY per ton. Coconut shell supply from Southeast Asia is normal, and the impact of new maritime regulations (hazardous goods declaration) has diminished. The price of imported carbonized materials has dropped from a high level, alleviating cost pressure.

The price of imported coconut shell char remains stable for now. Increased rainfall in the Philippines and Indonesia may affect the collection and cost. Chinese charcoal factories have a large inventory volume, which will take some time to be digested, and the recent purchasing intention is low. The market for coal-based activated carbon has seen a decrease in declines, but the increases have not been widespread; the market has mostly remained stable recently.

Prediction: China's coconut shell activated carbon inventory volume is large, and it is expected that the price of activated carbon may mainly follow a weak and volatile trend in the short term.
