Univar Solutions, a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients, has announced an expanded distribution agreement with American Distilling, Inc. Under the new agreement, Univar Solutions, through its Ingredients + Specialties division, will distribute American Distilling’s high‑quality natural specialty ingredient portfolio in selected markets across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
The key product at the centre of this collaboration is traditional Witch Hazel extract, available in alcohol‑free versions and customisable formulations, widely used in personal care, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical applications. Witch Hazel is a versatile botanical extract native to the northeastern woodlands of the United States, known for its natural astringent, anti‑inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial properties. As a mild plant‑based alternative to synthetic astringents, it is extensively used in facial care, cleansing products, body washes, hair care, eye gels, and personal hygiene products.
