According to the commodity market analysis system, the price of isopropanol in China increased this week. The average price on Monday was 6,283.34 CNY per ton, and by Friday, it had risen to 6,766.66 CNY per ton, representing a 7.69% increase.
This week, the isopropyl alcohol market prices in China have increased. The prices of raw materials, acetone and propylene, have both risen, providing strong cost support, leading to an increase in factory quotations. However, the overall trading atmosphere is moderate, with insufficient follow-up at high prices, and downstream buyers are cautious, resulting in general transactions. As of now, most quotations for isopropyl alcohol in Shandong region are around 6,500-6,600 CNY per ton; in Jiangsu region, most quotations are around 6,700-6,800 CNY per ton.
Future Market Prediction
The isopropanol analyst from the Chemical Subsidiary believes: This week, the market price of isopropanol has increased, but the overall market response is insufficient, with high prices leading to poor sales, and the quotation center gradually loosening. It is expected that in the short term, the market will experience minor fluctuations within a range, and attention should be paid to the actions of major manufacturers in China.
