On August 26, Zhejiang Longsheng adjusted prices on multiple reactive dye products; on August 31, Yabang adjusted ex-factory prices on several anthraquinone-based disperse dyes. The two companies' adjustments cover different product ranges – Longsheng mainly targets reactive dyes, while Yabang focuses on anthraquinone disperse dyes.
Longsheng: Reactive Dyes Up by as Much as RMB 10,000/Ton
On August 26, Zhejiang Longsheng issued a price adjustment notice for reactive dyes, raising prices across several reactive dye categories.
Specifically, the reactive yellow series was increased by RMB 4,000/ton, while reactive red, navy, turquoise blue, and other series were raised by RMB 5,000–8,000/ton. Some reactive black products saw the highest increase of up to RMB 10,000/ton.
Longsheng has adjusted dye prices multiple times recently. From July to early August, the company raised its disperse black prices three times in succession, with market quotations reaching approximately RMB 30,000/ton. Earlier in August, Longsheng had also raised reactive dye prices, with some products increasing by more than RMB 5,000/ton.
As of August 21, market data showed reactive black prices at about RMB 36,000/ton, up roughly 64% from the beginning of the year; disperse black prices stood at about RMB 28,000/ton, an increase of approximately 65% year-to-date.
Yabang: Sharp Price Hikes on Anthraquinone Disperse Dyes
On August 31, Yabang issued Price Adjustment Notice No. 34 [2026], adjusting ex-factory prices for several anthraquinone-based disperse dyes.
Among them, the price of Disperse Blue 60 press cake was raised from the early-year reference price of RMB 170,000/ton to RMB 230,000/ton, an increase of RMB 60,000/ton. Disperse Red FB press cake rose from RMB 140,000/ton to RMB 190,000/ton, up by RMB 50,000/ton.

H-acid and Reducing Agent Prices Also on the Rise
Alongside the dye price increases, upstream intermediate prices have also shown significant changes.
H-acid, which was priced at around RMB 40,000/ton at the start of the year, now commands mainstream quotations of approximately RMB 100,000/ton, with some suppliers offering as high as RMB 150,000/ton.
The reducing agent (1-aminoanthraquinone) price surged from about RMB 25,000/ton at the end of 2025 to roughly RMB 120,000/ton by mid-2026.
Judging from the recent price adjustments by Longsheng and Yabang, this round of price hikes has already covered multiple dye categories including reactive dyes and disperse dyes, with some products seeing price increases of tens of thousands of yuan per ton.
