Top 250 Global Patent List Announced! 21 Chemical Companies on the List 1

IFI Claims, a U.S. commercial patent database provider, has released the latest Top 250 Global Patents list, which is based on the cumulative patent holdings of companies, i.e. the ranking of the list is related to the previous patent holdings and also influenced by the number of new patents in the recent year.

Among them, there are 21 companies in the upstream petrochemical industry on the list.

1. Sinopec

2021 Number of Patents 45362

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC GR OUP) is a petroleum and petrochemical conglomerate founded on September 14, 1983 and headquartered in Beijing. It is the largest supplier of refined oil products and petrochemicals and the second largest oil and gas producer in China, the world's largest refining company, the third largest chemical company, and the second largest number of gas stations in the world.
