According to the price monitoring centre of the National Development and Reform Commission, the international oil prices rose sharply during the current round of oil price adjustment cycle (March 17 - March 30).

On average, London Brent and New York WTI oil prices rose by 1.4% compared to the last price adjustment cycle. As a result, the domestic retail prices of petrol and diesel were subsequently increased.

The increase in domestic refined oil prices will cost an extra 4.5 yuan to fill up a tank of oil.
