Application of OMYA (Omia) Calcium Carbonate in Film Industry

OMYA, founded in Switzerland in 1884, is a world leading multinational manufacturer of industrial mineral products, mainly CALCIUM Carbonate and dolomite products. In 1996, Omia came to China. Up to now, there are six production factories and four mines in Changshu, Linkou, Changxing, Qingyang and Hezhou. The products serve many industries, such as plastics, paints, coatings, sealants and inks. In 2015, Omia (Shanghai) formally signed a cooperation agreement with Yan TITANIUM Group, which established Yan Titanium as the main agent of Omia calcium carbonate products in China. Application of

At present, Calcium Carbonate is used in various applications from thin film to thick plate to enhance mechanical properties and increase productivity. The application of calcium carbonate not only improves the impact strength and steel properties, but also improves the production line capacity.
Omyafilm is a series of products specially developed for the film industry. By controlling the maximum particle size, the purity of calcium carbonate and surface coating technology, it has become a recognized benchmark product in the global film industry.
