Chain extenders are substances that react with functional groups on linear polymer chains to expand the molecular chain and increase the molecular weight. It is commonly used to improve the mechanical and technological properties of polyurethane and polyester products.

√ Improve Waterproof and Breathable ability

Replacing BDO with isosorbide resulted in coatings with higher heat resistance, better adhesion, impact resistance and abrasion resistance. Isosorbide-based PU has better heat and impact resistance than BDO-based alternatives.
