The groundwater level along the project has obviously risen, and the ecological and water quality of rivers and lakes have also been improved. In the 5 km range along the 9 rivers after the replenishment of Hebei, the shallow groundwater level increased by 0.49 meters, and 12 natural rivers resumed stage by stage. Baiyangdian was upgraded to category II by the inferior class V before replenishment.
