Global Electronic Chemicals Market to Grow at 6 pc Till 2026
The global electronic chemicals market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.33 percent, in value terms, during 2017 – 2026, according to a report by TechSci Research.
Growth in consumer electronics and technology industry, increasing use of semiconductors in industries such as aviation, defense, etc., coupled with surging demand for computers, smartphones, tablets, etc, which require electronic chemicals for the manufacturing of chips and PCBs installed in these devices, is expected to boost demand for electronic chemicals, globally, during the forecast period.
Moreover, growth in the market over the coming years is anticipated to be driven by stringent government policies which are leading to the development of environment-friendly chemicals.
Electronic chemicals can be broadly segmented into four categories, namely, CMP slurry, wet deposition, gases and ancillary chemicals. Of these categories, CMP slurry is forecast to register the maximum growth during the forecast period, owing to its increasing demand for designing small-sized chips for multiple applications. Several companies across the globe have joined hands to design special CMP slurry, which can be used for production of small-sized high-performance chips.
Asia-Pacific is the largest consumer of electronic chemicals on account of huge and rising manufacturing of PCBs and semiconductors in the region. The region is expected to maintain its dominance through 2026 as Taiwan is the global leader in the production of electronic appliances and China in manufacturing of PCBs.
“Electronic chemicals are widely used in electronic industry to manufacture semiconductors, ICs and PCBs. Due to increasing use of smartphones, computers and tablets, globally, production of semiconductors is expected to grow in the coming years. Moreover, rising demand from aviation industry for semiconductors in electronic circuits for monitoring cockpit functions, actuator systems, engine controls and RF & microwave systems is anticipated to positively influence the global electronic chemicals market in coming years,” said Karan Chechi, research director with TechSci Research, a research based global management consulting firm.
“Global Electronic Chemicals Market By Application, By Type, By Region, Competition Forecast & Opportunities, 2012 – 2026” has evaluated the future growth potential of global electronic chemicals market and provides statistics and information on market size, structure and future market growth.
The report intends to provide cutting-edge market intelligence and help decision makers take sound investment evaluation. Besides, the report also identifies and analyses the emerging trends along with essential drivers, challenges and opportunities in global electronic chemicals market.
