Lanxess raises prices of inorganic pigments
Lanxess is increasing the price of inorganic pigments worldwide as of June 14, effective immediately, in accordance with existing agreements. The quotation will be increased by at least €150 per MT or equivalent in local currency. In some cases, price increases can be even higher, depending on the product group and production location. Customers will be contacted individually as it applies to their products.
Rising raw material and energy costs, as well as sharply higher freight rates, have necessitated price adjustments.
Lanxess Inorganic Pigments is the world's largest manufacturer of synthetic iron oxide pigments and a leading producer of inorganic chromium oxide pigments. These products have been used for decades as colorants in building materials, paints and coatings, plastics, paper and other applications. These high-strength inorganic pigments are produced according to strict sustainability standards.
