In addition to professor Rocha's answer, I do preserve my protein and enzyme sample in batches, the activity wasn't lost. I believe it will work for gsh as well

GSH is better stored as powder at 4oC, but when dissolved it advisable to be stored as aliquots. I totally agree with Prof Joao Batista Teixeira da Rocha and Dr Andrey Massarsky regards

Another point that you have to consider is the purity of the water. Small amounts (nmolar or even lower) of Cu+/2+ will facilitate a lot the oxidation of -SH groups from either cysteine or GSH.

The best procedure is to freeze the samples in small amounts and used it after a maximal of two cycle of freezing and thawing. For GSH, we have not experienced any decrease in the thiol (reduced) content (by the Ellman's methods, i.e., using DTNB as color reagent) even after 4 cycles of freezing and thawing. I would recommend storing GSH aliquots in at least -20C (we store ours at -80C). GSH powder is stable at 4C for a few years, but is rapidly oxidized once in aqueous solution.

Should be prepared fresh. We did once and we observed fluctuations in the readings. Hence ready to use is better to avoid experimental errors
