You first neutralize it by forming a complex with ferrous sulfate solution and then dispose it off. It is important to make sure that the ferrous sulfate solution doesn’t have any sulfuric acid in it. In labs acid is used to stop the hydrolysis. If there is acid in it, it will instantly reacts with cyanide to produce hydrocyanic acid fumes, a deadly poison. So don’t use acid solutions.
