How will you separate a mixture of ammonium chloride, sand and sodium chloride?

Dissolve the ammonium chloride and sodium chloride using hot water and filter out the sand. Then evaporate the two chlorides to dryness and heat further to sublimate the ammonium chloride (the sodium chloride is not volatile at readily obtainable temperatures).

Selective sublimation to remove the ammonium chloride, followed by extraction into water of the residue, filtration to remove the sand, washing the sand on the filter and drying. The filtrate can be allowed to evaporate to make sodium chloride crystals. This is the most direct method and the simplest.
